Someone keyed my TSX
Someone keyed my TSX
On the passenger's side fender, starting in front of the wheel well and going back to the door panel.
If that's not bad enough, it looks like they thought the first scratch wasn't good enough, so they made a second one above it.
Now debating if I want to file a claim and have MY insurance go up cause some fuckwad decided to exercise his stupidity. Car is less than a fucking year old.

Is it a deep scratch?
Was the line straight or was it wiggly all over?
My dad thought that someone keyed his Volvo, but it really looked more like 2 branches had scratched his car...most likely driving too close to the side and there were branches there. Just a thought.
Either way, that sucks. Hopefully you can just clay bar and buff it out.

That's a good thought. I haven't been near any bushes lately and my wife parks in a big parking lot.
I have a mechanic buddy I will take it to and see what he says. One of the scratches has two almost identical lines about 1/8 inch away from each other, suggesting it's the second tooth on a key, but I could be wrong.

Sorry about your car man, hopefully it will be an easy (and relatively inexpensive fix). I dont understand what people get out of doing this to someone's car!

shouldn't even affect your rates.
