Shifts are way slow. And launch is poor.
Granted, with a modern cable shifted FWD car, you're not going to be ripping 1/10 of a second speed shifts (or power shifts - not good with a front driver). But his shifts are definitely wasting a lot of time.
And the launch was made at too low an engine speed. With these low-torque engines, you need to launch with a lot of RPM and slip the clutch enough to keep the R's in the torque curve.
I would bet he could pick up at least 1/3 of a second with the above corrections.

I'll tell what what IS amazing to me. The fact that an over 3500 pound front drive sedan with a high final drive (3.29) and a small V6 engine (196 CID) can rip off a 14.3 second quarter mile at 99 MPH. Now that's impressive.

If so, your 14.1 is, indeed, a super time.. no question about it.

Anyway, front wheel drive cars are notorious for poor traction. Just no way around it with a street setup - stock conditioned car. Physics are against you with FWD.
