What happened to that rectangular section of the rear glass?
Doesn't look that bad damagewise...

It's quite a bit of damage! The wood trim along the dash is upwards of 1K by itself! The glass looks like it has a hole in it and was tapped up to prevent water damage! Just doing a survey of it and the damaged items:

whole new paint job, refinish the trunk lid and doors and bumper, new wood trim (by itself would be over 2K!), new leather seat covers (1K at least), new tail light, new gauge cluster, new telematics unit, new idrive controller, new airbags + headliner, new vents, new trim for the upper rear console, new headrests, 4 new door panels, new driver side headlight, new door switches, new sun visors, new rear window and some other stuff that we can't see.

EDIT: the wood trim running under the idrive screen, but above the knobs is about 1600 dollars, then the drawers, lower wood trim and the wood around the center console is another 2K. Then each piece of wood on the doors is 300 dollars, so about 1200 for all 4...

That's a good $25,000 in damage, I'd bet.

I wonder if that was done on the lot (random vandals) or if it was done before it was for sale (owner got owned)? Either way, people are stupid.

could be a fun project...

Don't forget new rims in your pricing to make it look good again

Edit - I could live with a lot of that. New paint and seats but the wood I could deal with in that car

lol, at least she didn't spray paint the side of his car with an obscene message. That way he could be embarrassed every time he tries to sell it

Looks more like someone couldn't make payments on it, insurance scam; and this is local (Portland, OR).

I hope not. Although many years ago my gf had a POS '88 Civic and I offered to light it on fire in the middle of the desert.

I guess the moral of this story is that if you go this route:

At first glance I thought the police had searched the car and found drugs in the seats, then I saw the rest of the pics.

"Slap the bitch"?.. Hell, I'd lower the price and ruin a wheel and fender well running her over a few times.

Ouch. That's painful to even watch. When I got rear-ended I saw another car at the body shop. The owner is a member on here. He had a TL that was keyed on every body panel and had all his tires slashed. That was mild compared to this.
