... and bought a new car. We bought a 2005 Touareg V8. MSRP was ~$49,995 and we got it for $40,500!! thats just a bit under 10K off, what do you guys think of the buy? I'll post pics tommarow...

Sounds like an excellent price on one of the few suv's I'd consider owning... The V8 must be sweet.

The B9 has got to be one of the Fuglyest suv's out there... And the TV commerical sucks...

I like the Touareg a whole lot. I just wish the V10 Turbodiesel model would actually make an impact on U.S. sales without emissions. The V8 is still sweet though... which color did you get?

The new Subie looks a shitload better then the saab version....I saw one in the parking and at first though it was a fucking MDX that had been modded with a shitty kit and altezzas....thinks looks fucking horrid and TERRIBLE body panel gaps.

All of the above plus the Toureg's weight makes the mpg pretty low-not a big selling point at the moment.

 

Lets hear the story damnit! I wanna know what you did to piss off the salesman, I might need something like that in the near future...

 

there is no story to tell, just kept insisting a ridiculous price.
The first salesman said after all discounts it would be $41,000 and some change, than we went to go look at it and then came back and insisted on $39,500. He said no, than we said yes. He said no, and we said yes. That continued for literally half an hour. So the manager came in and said the price was actually $43,000 and some change and we got pissed and started arguing, so they guy said fine $42,000 and we said no, $39,500. He said no, we are losing money, we said we don't care u just waisted three hours of our day when u told us $41,000. He said god damn it no, we said yes. Than hes said $41,700, than my dad who was with me said $41,500 and i just broke out laughing and the manager gave out this disgusted groan noise and said ok fine and we shook on it. Than my dads like and we want a third key, the manager almost went crazy, it was so funny
