now that he is selling the bike tell him to start off by buying all the safety gear and getting into classes. That way he can live to 18 before he can make his own decisions and hopefully not end up like this guy:

As an avid motorcyclist (averaging almost 20k miles per year on my '07 GSX-R600s), and a track-goer, I cannot stress enough the importance of gear and proper safety instructions.
Tell him to check out www.sportbikes.net and go to the Beginner Riders section for detailed information and guidance. An R6 is just simply too much bike for a 15-year-old.
