Small Accord Gathering in FL (pics)

Once again I had the opportunity to come down to sunny Florida this winter with my fiance and stay at her grandparents. While it was a lot colder then I remember the last couple of years, it was still a good 40 degrees warmer then what we had in Michigan the same week. Not to mention the reported 8" of snow we were able to avoid. We meet up with a couple of my friends from various 7th Gen Accord forums and take some pictures.

black one gave me a hard on. I like the silver coupe as well, the black is a bit to low for my taste.

Nice. Still not feeling the rear on the 7G sedan; the 7.5G was a tremendous improvement there. Great pics nonetheless.

looks good!

I'm guessing the sedan has the factory lip with 18s? I just wish it had a better looking exhaust tip.

Really? Always heard nothing but positive comments on the wheels but everyone has different tastes. Not my car regardless so no skin off my back ha ha.

Thanks! I agree with you, LED tails and nicely finished exhaust tips rock. Even the 03-05 coupes got the contoured bumpers for the exhausts, the sedans got the shaft lol!

Yep. If I planned to keep this car for good most likely I would have gotten the coupe rear lip and some Magnaflow exhaust cans out back but I want an 06-07 4DR 6MT or a 3G TL 6MT

Thanks! The first rolling shot with the silver coupe was on I-4, the other rolling shots were taken on University Blvd. The group shots somewhere in Winter Park.

I believe that the meet was held on the 27th, the day we were leaving unfortunately. Plus it was 4 hrs away!

Owning a CL I feel that your gen accord is what the next gen CL was. In fact I feel that your accord is more similar to the CL than the previous gen accord. And the refreshed rear on those are just awesome

I have two more that are almost similar to the ones posted so I didn't want to post redundant pics but I shall post them per your request. I do have lots more rolling shots I didn't post since they mostly look the same. What I need is a car rig!

That's interesting but now that you mentioned it, it makes sense. I just wish our Accords came with the 3.2L and LSD from stock like the CLs did. Thanks for answering the questions Milan. Yes, the Battles are also discontinued.

Yea, the 3.2 would have been nice but dont those 3.0s and our 3.2s run the same times? And an LSD would have been nice, even if it was a small limited edition run. Is there any way to get the lsd off a cl or tl?

6mt Accords run 5.9 0-60 and 14.5 1/4 mile stock (mag numbers). There was an article I saw when I bought mine where it said the 3.0 with premium fuel makes nearly identical horsepower #s as the 3.2, just a little less torque. There's guys running the TL LSDs in their Accords as well.

20D is a good camera. I haven't seen the need to upgrade. The only reason I'd upgrade is to get a full-frame camera like a 5D. Don't have much use for HD video, using the LCD to compose and focus, as well as the other new features.

For the rolling shots I shoot in Tv (shutter priority) and set the shutter to 1/60 or slower depending on the speed of the car.

For the still shots I shoot in aperture priority and stop down or open up depending on what I'm going for.

95% of the tire I use manual mode strictly for flash or night photography. Not much use for anything else that I shoot.

I knew it! I lived in Woodside Village right off of University Blvd. I went to Lakemont Elementary in Winter Park and my mom also worked at the Winter Park Public Library.

I miss it down there
