Skipped the TLX and got something else :)
For the past couple months, I've been doing homework on what to possibly replace my '05 TL 6MT with. Kept her in great shape over the years, but with 183k miles on the odometer, it was slowly time to consider getting a newer vehicle. Just got a '17 RDX Tech for the wife and was hoping I'd get into the TLX but just didn't like the styling amongst other things. Checked out the GS 350 F Sport, Audi A4 and MB C300 Sport 4MATIC. Well, I pulled the trigger on the C300 and decided to keep my TL. Just not ready to let her go, and I'm pretty sure I'll be keep her for the long haul. Here's a pic of my TL and the C300 I just picked up.

Congrats on the new C-Class! It's the best looking Mercedes in that segment since the 190E 2.3-16 generation.
A colleague has a C300 coupe and its gorgeous. I hope you get 180K miles of fun with this one too.

MB always makes great looking cars. Congrats, OP!
This is interesting as I was just thinking the OP's new C- reminds me of previous E-classes. I noticed this trend even more with BMW's new models which all increased in size and proportion: the new 3-series seems like the old 5-, new 5- like the old 7-, etc. I guess I don't quite get why luxury manufacturers keep making larger and larger automobiles.

The growth is interesting. Would be a sight, to see a W205 next to a W201. The old 190 was a little car.

Congrats! Welcome to the club! The car looks beautiful... nice color choice
You will find it is a whole new world vs the TL and after half a year I'm still not bored of driving the new car vs the old TL.

How has the maintenance been? My wife looked at a C300 vs a C43 cabriolet yesterday. Curious about the maintenance costs?

You would have missed the manual. The C is a nice car to lease for a few years.
