I have a family down the block who owns 2 Cobalt SS's .. I believe one is the older Supercharged version and the other is the pure SS badging with no go version. Both sound like they are straight piped because no emissions inspections in MN. They drive up and down the block banging off the rev limiter too. Tried to chat with me last summer when I had friends over for a gathering (Sti's, s2000's, a few domesticated muscles) and asked me to detail his car. Told him he was the laughing stalk of the block and needs to downshift to stop being an arse. He left and has been evil eyeing me ever since. I can hear him gas it in front of my house purposefully now every time he passes.

Yeah, real mature of him. And I'm sure he's really getting even with you for doing that

Some people can never admit that they're fucking tools.

I'm confused as to what revving a small 4 cylinder engine is compensating for

Put your J37 in his girlfriend, once you hit vtec, your rod bearings will explode in her. Problem solved.

Give it some time...
You dont need to do anything, Karma will fuck him in time. Back in the 1980's I had a friend with a neighbor who did the same thing with his Chevy El Camino. One day while tapping the throttle to the floor in his driveway the car popped a rod out the side of the engine block.
