You might have buffed too hard... Looks like all the paint came off. And that Ford lays it on thick because that looks a heck of a lot smaller too.

(looks nice!)

and i'm not just talking 'bout the fella in the reflection.

You mean you buffed all the way to the metal, then put primer on? Damn, you're tougher than I thought!

Seriously, congrats on the pickup and sorry to read of the accident. Will you be able to get along without the room of the Expedition?

Congrats you're going to love it. My street is full of these now... Across the street has a Edge Sport, I have the Explorer XLT with all the options, neighbor four doors down has a Explorer Sport, then around the corner someone has another Explorer Sport.

Also, can't wait for the tune.

Apparently if you buff red long enough it turns to tuxedo black.

Thanks, that was a 40mph clip. Idiot going the otherway somehow didnt see a gint red bus and tried to turn infront of me. Rilped the backend of his car off. Kids were with and never felt a thing. As for the room, other than not being able to fit 4x8 sheets of plywood inside it has pretty much just as much room inside. It has captains chairs in the 2nd row but still seats 6. It has a ton more room behind the 3rd row. Dont even get me started on the power. This thing is amazing. The ski boat won't slow this thing 1 bit.

Don't you want people to know you're driving a "luxury" SUV?

In any case, congrats. Best looking generation Explorer to date.

I pulled off the BOV tubes so that it vents to atmosphere over the weekend and the kids love it. Kept telling me to giver some more so that they could hear it. Quinn loves the takeoffs, says it feels like her hat is going to fall off. Wait till i bump the boost from 8 to 16

Looks great! Really nice work on the vinyl.
Where did you order the blackout Ford emblems? We only have them on the liftgate, wheels & steering wheel, but black would look better than blue, IMO. Especially since the 'F L E X' on the hood is black.

But you should've bought a EB Flex!

nope. The handle comes apart so i was able to wrap the vinyl into the hole and cut it so that the little button comes thru.

there are a couple places on ebay that sell them. I found out afterwards that if you get the oem 13+ F150 ford emblems you can actually take them apart so that you can paint them.
