Magneti Marelli Abarth
Sold the S4 and got an Abarth earlier this month.
Magneti Marelli Kit with way too many factory mods to list.
From what I've read, it's +/- 2500lbs @ 215hp/233tq.
The sounds that come out of thing is nuts; it's a riot to say the least... blast to drive.

Always been a huge fan of those and figured they would be a blast. Great to hear that they are. It definitely is crazy the exhaust note that little thing puts out. Never would expect it.

Sorry for the title changes
As tiny as it looks & despite me being 6'1", there's plenty of space to spare... more so than the Mini due to the seating position - I guess?
I even have my daughter's car seat in the rear - she absolutely loves her trips to & from school.
There's a bit of lag below 3k, but it rips there after. I keep traction control on at all times since fwd and a weeeee bit much on the torque steer.
Still haven't fiddle with all of the drive modes. I keep the boost controller on Sport+ w/ +3 throttle curve. Mind you, you have to hit the sport toggle button in the car to activate the boost controller. Feels like an arcade game every time I get it in
Cold starts are SUPER loud! Considering it's practically straight pipes, it mellows out once it gets to temp... no drone unless you're really on it - which is most of the time.
Speaking of temperature, the boost controller will peg boost until the car reaches optimum temperature... pretty much in valet mode until then.
Had to turn off speed limiter in the options; it was capped at 90 when the top is down.
Outside of the 7 to 8 quirks that makes absolutely no sense as to why they are what they are, I suppose that's what give it its personality.
Almost forgot - this car is in dire need of a 6th gear. Get's up to speed very quickly and there's a constant need to shift into reverse by accident
Between exhaust note & the induction noises - swooshing & flutter galore; it seriously sounds like an Italian super car in a Fiat 500 package - which is hilarious.
Love it.

Lots of changes in '19!
As great as the Abarth was as a FL car, certainly not the best daily for the PNW and winters associated with it.
Enter my '09 B8 S5 6MT; 56k miles.... Purchased through CarMax out of NV and trailered to WA.
SUPER clean car that looks as if it was sitting in a time chamber for the past 10 years.
After having it for over 3 weeks now, it's definitely a solid piece of machinery.
No complicated tech; no spool; no whine... just the roar of the 4.2l V8.

Not sure I'll be messing with this one all that much; just enjoying as it is.
First week of Jan; relocated the whole family.
Lol, yeah...
IS got rear ended by a school bus... literally.
NX F Sport to the right is our too; great truck.
Speaking of which... the lease expires next year.
We'll likely end up in a Model Y now that it's an option at a fraction of the cost in comparison to Model X.

Congrats! Such a timeless body style. I bet it's a hoot to drive. What's the color? It's sort of hard to tell from the parking garage lighting. Looks like a darkish gray-blue?

Thanks; we're loving life so far!
All good homie; you have a whip for every occasion. I'm trying to get there!
Thanks.
It's "Meteor Grey Pearl Effect". Depending on the lighting, it does have a grey / blue fuse effect going.
Indeed it's a blast. I drive from the city to the suburbs everyday and man o man, such a great GT car! Zero cabin noise, comfy heated seats, & plenty of power when needed. Most of the time, I'm in cruise control with podcast in tow.

Update
I can't stress how solid the B8 S5 is.
Next month will make it a year since date of purchase with over 33k miles driven with zero issues.
It's an absolute monster in the snow; such a great car.

I think we need to define reliable.
I don't think we can count a door lock actuator issue.
I don't think we should blacklist because parts cost is high and normal owner doesn't tinker themselves so the only useful info is that it's 8 grand every trip to the dealer.
With that said, Marcel and his experience swayed me from ever going Merc, likely.
His experience with the 4.2 has made me consider one. V8 Torquey is magic.
I would also second his current experience thus far by stating that I'm closing in on
a year, methinks, on the B8.5 with the 3L and I have had no issues either in 10K miles...
most of which stage 1 and now pulley stage 2 tuned.

I really do see J picking up another B8.5; in manual form though... making it easier to move his existing mods over.
This though, would mean he'd have 6 to 7 cars in his drive way until sold

Another set of rings
Welp, traded the wifey's NX last week for something a bit more appropriate and better suited for the PNW.
Enter the newest addition, '11 Q7 3.0T S-Line Prestige.
Got a great deal on it @ 65k miles with an extended warranty package included.
Another German car.
