saw a new m5 FINALLY!

I live in a very wealthy area and have been searching for someone who has the new m5. Of course, I find it at my college, driven by a professor. I had always noticed an m5 sitting in the professor's parking lot. Low and behold, last night, he/she updated and got a new one. That car is down right gorgeous, still had dealer tags on it, and the asshole parked it right in the middle of the lot-way to care about such a nice car. Anyway, college professors make too much money and he/she should be shot for not being more careful about such a sexy car.

Which college??

Surprised that prof dared to bring the M5 to work. Typical prof at Princeton Univ drives a 2G Toyota Prius (although I'm certain a number of them have a Porsche sitting in their garage at home). Gotta keep up the Eco-trip I guess.

I go to Monmouth-the majority of professors here drive really nice cars, especially the tenured ones

So did he just park in the middle, all doors available for dings? Or did he park taking up 2 spaces (the more typical BMW way)?

....sounds more like the typical northeasterner if you ask me.

I've seen more than my share of Ferraris & Maseratis in NYC all dinged up and bumpers scratched up because the owner just parks it where ever. People like that should be encouraged to buy something a bit more lowend IMHO.

it says a lot about a person when they regardless leased or bought the car that they leave it in the middle of the lot, when it is that expensive. I am in NYC almost every weekend and i've seen guys trying to parallel park their new ferrari and slam the curb 5 times. The majority of people who own nice cars such as an m5 and ferrari, lambos, porsche, take care of their cars and respect them-it says a lot about a person that doesn't

That's one sweet car. I saw it at the NYC car show.

As for the idiots that can's park....I just see it as comedy relief.

saw one for the first time this morning on the 210 coming into work.

It looks sweet in person.

I just can't imagine getting 8-10mpg as one other person on the forums said his friends m5 got. BUt then again if you can afford that car, $$$ shouldn't be an issue. Then again there are those that buy the car before the house.
