Saw a new Lexus ad last night

It mostly features the RX 330, some dude blindfolds his wife and leads her to the family room and says "I got you a present" or something. Then he shows her the new RX 330 with a big red bow on it, and she says "how did you find a bow that big??"

But in the closing sequence they show 3 Lexus cars and the middle one is a new sedan, I could have sworn it was the new GS... Anyone else seen it? Maybe I was on crack and it was just the ES but in the ad it looked quite good and made me notice. The ES I find kind of ugly.

Probably was the new GS. Lexus needs to create plenty of buzz about the car cause on paper and in some pics it doesn't look that great compared to the competition.

Thats the ad for the Lexus December to Remember sales event they have going on. They have it every year. They have another one where a guy is trying to figure out how to tie a red bow on a new ES330 in the driveway.

I've seen that commercial before... I thought it was the ES in the middle, with the RX on the left and the current GS on the right

Oh yeah, that commercial was a little humorous cause the LX330 is just sitting in their living room next to the tree and all she says was how'd he get that big bow and the kid looks and was confused on how the car got in there...

That's the current GS in the closing shot, not the new Lexus GS.

I really like Lexus' ad agency. The December to Remember commercials are some of my favorite holiday ones...they portray everyone's favorite holiday fantasy (maybe not the Lexus under the tree, but a luxury car none the less )

I saw the ad on TV again. They rotate...this time, I paid close attention and it had an SC430 in the middle.

Most of the Lexus written marketing materials, including their brochures, are created by a small firm in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. My gf's family is friends with the couple who owns the firm. They really do very good work.

For those college students, take an intro to advertising class, you'll learn alot about the big firms out there. Leo Burnette, Satchi Satchi, etc. Amazing advertising minds at work.
