saber emblem

why don't i see many guys with "SABER" on the trunk instead of INSPIRE. isnt the tl in japan the SABER? why haven't i seen anyone with that? if anything, i would imagine that if they wanted to be JDM, they would put taht. but im new, so correct me if im wrong.

I believe the Ispire is the Honda equivalent to the TL, in Japan. I don't understand why you would want the Honda "H" and Inspire on a TL, here in the states. Like putting "Camry" on the back of a Lexus

Some folks want the JDM look but the only problem here is that the TL is a US built car, as opposed to placing say 'Nissan Skyline' and '350GT' on the Japan built Infiniti G35. But, whatever floats one's boat I guess.

Honda in Japan has 2 distribution networks for their cars. Saber is for one network; Inspire is for the other. There are no differences between models outside of badging and the odd accessory. This holds true for then 2nd gen TL models (UA4, UA5).

For the current edition, the "Inspire" in Japan is the current gen USDM Accord. I believe the Saber has been discontinued.
