which radar do you use and how effective is it, i know the v1 is only best at radar, but thats it.

Pretty sad u need a radar detector to actually drive your daily route. Thats like being to damn lazy to read.

Im pleased with my X50.

The only time it failed was at night when i was on a desolated 2-lane highway and coming up on a car at 90+ and no one else was on the road. The car turned out to be a cop, and put his rear radar on and got me. My radar didnt go off earlier cuz there was no one else on the road. But overall its paid for itself over and over and over. You just have to know when not to speed.

and i picked it up for 235 on ebay instead of the regular 299
