to those surprised by the performance of the type s in those videos, you should know that the rsx-s, now has an ecu reflash done by hondata, which causes the car to engage vtech at 2,000rpms, as opposed to 6,000rpms, and hold it steady to a raised redline of 9,000rpms! needless to say, with this setup, most of these kids now run 13's at the track.

Any proof of this? Or you just being sarcastic? Engaging vtec too early results in loss of power and major bogging of the engine.

Hondata only lowers the VTEC point to 5200 rpm and raises the redline to 8600 rpm.

I've raced E36's modded and stock, and also raced rsx-s's No fooken way , cause the E36 was hanging closer w/ me than the rsx-s.
