You can't do it yourself? Can you see it or are you just smelling it? As an aside, who would you call to take care of this?

Take it to dealer?

Kinda weird you're asking members of an Acura forum for help with your Nissan. You wouldn't be related to Chrisg1199, would you?

even after you get the dead rodent out of the heating duct in your car, the car is still going to stink.

It's Car Talk. This is the non-Acura side.

Wow, you have a dead rodent and a duck in your car? That's a lot of wildlife for one Altima.

1.) ducks don't eat rodents so why is there a dead one inside your duck?
2.) why do you use a duck for heating? There are much better sources like gas, hot water, electricity, etc.
3.) do you burn the duck for heat or use it's body heat?
4.) how pissed off is that duck?
5.) maybe it likes the smell of dead rodent?

Welcome to the forum!

Kind of a weird first post, especially when the answers are pretty simple and no one online can really assist you here.

I'd suggest following one of the posted pieces of advice above... call a friend/neighbor or take it to a dealer/shop.

PS - Chief is right, it will still smell, so may want to get an air freshener as well...
