I mean, I can obviously tell how much nicer the Audi is inside but I have never really felt like the inside of a car sucks enough for it to matter to me.
and right you are about that, it is all those things.

@KaMLuNg dude, in comparison to the V...the Z is a lot more poised, oddly enough...even with 1000 less pounds
and likely 120 more hp. When you do a fishtail it feels similar to the S2000 in that you can kinda point it where you want
and it'll sort of pull itself straight.
You know, I won't say that I've NEVER thought an interior looks whack...but I don't mind it at all. That said, I also love the blue 90's interior on the Yukon.

Having the Malibu & recently 2 weeks in my dad's '12 Denali, I can somewhat concur.
The Malibu especially, never really have to worry about hitting the wrong button(s).
The Denali does have very small volume knob, but it falls right at your fingertips with your hand on the column shifter, and works much better than the steering wheel volume control.

I guess what I was alluding to is that I'm not a super picky interior person LOL.
The seats are SUPER comfy for a road trip...my lady was like shit, we can drive across country in this.
I guess since we drove it home from Austin in less than 2 days with a stop in Nola, we kinda already did
Seat bottom could use better cushion, and the bolstering ain't great for hard cornering but that's what I have an
elbow and door panel for
...realistically though the same reason it's not great for sporty driving is why it's comfy
for daily driving.
had it a month and already did the wheels and tires, lowered, aligned, figured out insulating the torque tube tunnel,
put a tow hitch on it for bike rack, swapped to custom badges, replaced some pieces, fixed some shit, refilled the diff,
put a new alternator on it...ordered some new hatch struts...
what can I say, I love this thing...
@Predatorbird knows whats up

Wait. You were in NOLA and didn't visit me
LOL I'm playin
If you could do that drive then I say that car is definitely road trip worthy!! That's one hell of a long drive.

I did manage to meet a pink dog and @TLDude876 right quick like but they were part of the story

Sounds like you were passing through around when we were moving, so I was roasting in the back of a uhaul.
Was relatively in your neck of the woods (Pensacola) last week. Definitely a bit more moderate weather than the Houston roaster.
Funny story - I learned how to drive stick in a '78 Corvette (C3). I was 15 and half and visiting my dad in Las Vegas. His wife asked if I was learning how to drive and mentioned that I was in my mom's car. She asked if it was an auto and and I said yes. She told me I needed to learn stick first and took me out in her car in their neighborhood. To give you a picture of this adventure, I am now only 5'7". At the time I was not yet 5'7". The C3 is all nose. The seats in a C3 are virtually nonadjustable. Her car had a Hurst shifter with a 40lb clutch. Here I was, leaning forward, holding onto the steering wheel to barely see over the hood, practically having to take a running start inside the car to get the clutch engaged and then trying to shift without falling backwards in the seat and not being able to see where I was going. Good times. I learned, though.

2. still going
3. that vette and HER probably made you a much better driver!
My dad made me take a ride in his VW van...had to double clutch up and down...holy shit that was a challenge.
but that's why we're decent drivers now...everything is easy by comparison.
Thanks for sharing that Tim.
Effective 8/1, IIRC, LADOT is activating cameras on the bridge.
If you cross in under 18 minutes, you get a ticket in the mail.
I recall the Cannonball record holders did a shakedown on their AMG on Thanksgiving morning & ran FL to TX. 168MPH across the bridge.

Dudeeeee...that's crazy...it was raining hard and I was in a 600hp rwd car with no traction or abs...
yeah...I wasn't getting across too fast

@rockstar143 I'm really curious what kind of numbers that thing dishes out via Dragy - can you get a hold of one?
I'd guess that car is deep in the 7s for 60-130 ... which is dumb quick.

i wish they were cheaper, i'm tightening up on budget right now to recover from this latest giant financial deadweight...
maybe Adam will ship me his to get a run in to compare to a GS

I did stumble on this and the car sounds and looks to be very similar to mine...

Shiettt...
I don't quantify much but this thing is light and has a lot of power and with the Conti tires and 325 rear it actually has traction, which is crazy.
I've gotten used to driving it now but when I get on it, it never does cease to wow me...the redline is so high and it just SCREAMS! I
love when I freak J or the kids out with it...

good rule of thumb, don't speed there
What about those special 427 edition ones...I'm assuming that was GS body with LS7 but maybe not the luninum frame and such?
Or was it not even wide body. To me, after seeing them side by side and having a few of my close broskis talk me out of it, I can NOT do narrow hips.
Gotta be a thicccummmm

I like the troublefree LS3 and removable top...and I could have been TOTALLY happy with a GS BUT, the pricing on them crept up
to Z06 pricing and after watching enough youtube reviews on the LS7 and the look on every tester's face, I knew it had to be a Z for me.

I've only had 1 Z06 on the road
Wrapping out 1st & half of 2nd on a frontage road was eye-opening. I thin I still had my CB7 at the time. The GS is probably more 'streetable' but plenty to get you sent to break stones with a big hammer.
It's been along time since I've looked, and don't recall how much the GS shared with the Z apart from the wider body bits.
