I was considering window visors...
mainly because I think they look kinda cool.
With the 3G, it was a must IMO...to keep ambient temps down during the day to avoid dash crack I'd leave windows open a little...along with sun shade.
With the V, that need isn't present so I'm not sure and the window trim is somewhat porous looking so I've been told you will fuck that up if you ever try and
remove them...in addition, they will likely fade and need replace down the line.

although AVS is advertised as Lund brand also and is half the price at like $57 at Carid.

Also, my badges are ready...but Nate accidentally forgot to change one of the left checkers to silver...
he already offered to replace if I hate them, but he said to look at them in person first to see if I'm sure I'm not happy.
I also decided I'll be paying him to make me center cap stickers to go over those fugly silver ones I bought in the matching insert theme.
Should look pretty cool but I want to make sure I'm happy with them before committing to a set.

look at the 5 piece set...all black on left, which goes with teh all black on left on the inserts for the all weathertechs all around including trunk tray...gonna be fucking tits!
also, even the badges front and rear are wrong, look at the little flags going up caddy corner...

It's hard to say without actually seeing it on the car, but what he made wouldn't bother me. From far away, your original design might look "undefined" and sorta missing that defined border around the edge. What he made is very uniform, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'll need to pay attention to Caddy's over the next few days to see if any appear to have that 2-piece style.
I was blown away once I started paying attention to the caps on Honda/Acuras. There are so many different styles, even on the same car over the years. Some look downright cheap while others look RDX-Elite.
I saw a Caddy in the parking lot today that appeared to have a 2-piece center cap. Unfortunately, I only took a mental note of what it was and then promptly forgot (had some stuff on my mind and wasn't really paying attention). It's a newer car, and I thought it was an ATS, but it looked more like a crossover. Which is not an ATS. But according to the pictures on the Cadillac web site, the new crossover thing has the new big logos with no wreaths; while the one I saw had the smaller logo with wreaths, but it wasn't encapsulated.
I know this post has been as helpful as thumbtacks in your orange juice, but I'll see if it's still there later when I head out.
Regardless, I think there might be something in the GM parts bin along the lines of what you were expecting.

Like 80% sure. I also saw a cts-v (coupe lol) and cts-poorpeople today too. One with silver and one with black center caps. Both of them were obviously the encapsulated emblems. The Caddy WTF that I saw didn't have the same "all over glossy" appearance like the others, the gray cap was plastic-y and the emblem was chrome (mono, no colors; just like the 1 piecers you got).
I was multitasking on the phone as I walked by so I didn't stop to finger the caps. Tomorrow if I see it, I will. Will get pics if it's true.
^^ Same here, although the new logos are nice looking I prefer the wreaths too.. I guess I'm old school (49) where the Caddy logo always had the wreath..

well, I gave Austin the Thule roof rack and bike attachments when I sold him the car...
I could figure out a tow hitch to use my old rack but I honestly think I like the versatility of a roof mount...aside from great photo opportunities...I think it's cool to be able to take a bike, kayak or sheet of plywood home in my fast waggin.
Well, inserts arrived and as predicted...in person I am not disappointed. I was quoted $115 for matching center cap vinyls...I'm thinking that rather than being silly and insisting on a new set, I ask if he'd be willing to cut me a great deal on the caps and maybe down the line if I decide to go another route or pick an accent color. We shall see...either way, I think they will look although I'm not going to apply them until I'm certain.
Seeing your side badge up close, your original choice makes more sense. As much of a pain in the ass it is, I'd have him make you new side badges. I think it will look much better with your original design.

The front and rear inserts match the original badge design and looks very well thought out. The side inserts don't match the original badges at all. What you have does look good, but doesn't pull off the execution as well.
No, front and rear are wrong too...look at the small diagonal set of flags...they have a dark grey strip rather than silver.
I just emailed him...I spent too much money to settle. I also asked him to invoice me for a set of matching center caps to the original design I ordered.
