definitely didn't take long

Seems I will need to buy a new tool so I can but the springs. I am not sure an air cutoff wheel would do the trick compared to an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.

Jason...
place order for $258 coupe CTS (the V one...) edition eibach prokits.
Take 3 hours and then get your car lower. Enjoy how your wife immediately starts calling you sir and bringing you beers and wanting to do BJ on you all the time.
Trust me...
Trust Jeremy. He knows.

You don't need more than your cutoff wheel to cut the spring...my first bout with cutting springs on my old accord was done with a dremel and a tiny cutoff wheel. I went through like 3 wheels per cut...but you know...

at HarborFreight an angle grinder is $12.99 usually on sale...in case you really need a new tool.

I really wish that would be end result. If so I would gladly order those springs right this moment.

Ok perfect then I just a new cutoff wheel for my air cutoff tool and I should be good to go. That is a cheap angle grinder if I have any issues with my cutoff wheel.

Anyone who suggests cutting springs is a good idea should be punched repeatedly.

LOL...
well, since you probably missed the context.
The suggestion to NOT CUT SPRINGS was for the oem springs...since reverting would be impossible.
These are eibachs

LOL...some reverse psychology huh.
Well, in theory, cutting springs is wack.
BUT...
that said...with the magneride...
you are limited...
you can't just buy 1000 coilovers and call it a day.
you can buy a module to trick the car and get coils for 3000.
you can buy air for 5000 or more.

or you can buy eibach or D3 springs...the only two that make them. D3 gets bad rap.
Leaving you with either stay stock height or get $260 Eibach
if you do that...you are limited to either not enough of a drop with the sedan springs...
or you do what the guy's on the forum have done and proven look and ride well

eibach coupe springs with 5" cut from fronts.

It's not all willy nilly!

GM owner for less then a month and already rolling on cut springs.

Could you feel any change in spring rate? Minor I'm sure.

Height looks good though.

Well if it's any consolation, you were acting like an Audi owner for years before getting one!

Honestly, it feels pretty stock, maybe a little more harsh...but I think I'm trying to think it is...because it really feels stock.
Less body roll for sure...and getting lots of poon!
