Rental Car + Mudding = Fun

Man, we found this off the beaten path dirt road, with huge empty fields and what not, and we gave the Malibu hell. Malibus can drift like a mo'fo. And dont even get me started on the reverse donuts and sweet jumps. This car can take a beating, I tell ya that much. Who knew? I should bring out a video camera. I still have this car for another week or so. Man, rentals, they just get the shit beat out of em.

Continuing the support for why one should not purchase a vehicle that is 1 year old that has 30k miles on it (and that has a rental company as its previous registry on the CarFax report).

You also need to steal a couple trays from Taco Bell (or any fast food place), park the car, place the trays longitudinally behind your rear wheels, back over the trays so that your tires are on them, pull the hand brake, crank the wheel to one side, rev it up, let it out. You'll be surprised how well you can pull donuts in a front-driver. It holds a pretty tight circle when you don't actually have rear adhesion.

My favorite cars for the beating are the Avis Chevy Classics (a.k.a. the old Malibu). At the hotel I stay at there's a nice little "transition" from the parking garage to the street. Let's just say "Them Duke boys are in trouble now! Yeeeehaaaw!"

E-brake turns, full throttle starts / torque braking....mmmm...the car never smelled so dejected.

When I was in college my car had to go in the shop through my insurance and they put me in a rental car from enterprise. A FORD FESTIVA. They shouldn't have done that. I was driving from College Station to Austin (1.5 hour drive) and I was crusing at 80 sometimes getting to 90 and sure enough, I THREW A ROD. Had to stop 3/4 of the way there at another enterprise to get another car.

Funny thing is one of my friends recently bought a festiva as a daily driver (he has a gas guzzlilng Expedition, no kids, no wife). I told him not to drive it to fast. 2 weeks later and sure enough the Festiva was in the shop because.... HE THREW A ROD!

Too bad you didn't leave the name/location of the place you rented from. I'd be more then happy to rat you out like Shawn and I did for mastaando.

I don't understand why some folks consider it OK to destroy or not respect someone else's property. Are you also the type of asshole that door dings other's cars just for the fun of it?

You've had a lot of shit rain down on you hard this past year -- it sounds like you keep doing your best to earn it.

Cool. I hope if you ever do anything wrong, no matter what it is, that you get caught also.

What, so you believe everything you read? What are you gonna say, "Hey, some dude on the internet said he drove your rental in some dirt, I want you to arrest him". Please. And I'm not destroying or disrespecting the property. I drove in some mud. So what. And do you really believe I took the car off some sweet jumps? Man, you must be gullible in real life. Hell, if I got a nice wet road I'll 'drift' my CL too, and I've done some reverse donuts in it. I beat all my cars to hell. Stop trying to be an internet narc.

What, so everyone who donated is a dipshit? Because I was down and out and needed some help? Just hope you never get in a situation where you have to rely on other people for a while. Maybe tell them not to help you out because then they would be dipshits.

So, in closing, ....

I still do not think you get the message..

you're a glutton for punishment.... you do one stupid deed after another than continue to brag about it on the forums... it is cool.... I ....I guess...

I just thought maybe you would put your brain to good use instead of trying to make mash potatoes out of it every other week..

Whatever man. A glutton for punishment huh. Yea right. More like bad luck. Its like some people on here, all they focus on is the bike stuff, or mudding in a rental car. And they wanna turn me in. What a bunch of fuckin losers. Do you have nothing better going on in your life than wishing I had posted the rental location so you could tell them? And even if, its like some of you guys make yourselves out to be holier than thou. Everyone does dumb shit, thats what makes life fun. If you lived every day going straight arrow, whats the point?

You know, I've done a lot of good stuff with my life, yet no one ever points that out. Not that it really matters anyways. But just to let you know, my mashed potato of a brain has done plently of good, just for your information.

I served a tour in the Army.
Went overseas.
Have raised my sister since she was basically 15. Took care of her like I was her parent.
Loaned friends money in jams.
I have never been arrested, anything like that.

All in all, I'm a pretty decent guy. Yet it pisses me off that some of you harp on this dumb little shit. I'm sure you guys have some stuff in your closet, so unless you've been an angel your entire life, you can shut the fuck up.

^hey man, not trying to fuel the fire or anything or make enemies of anyone but what i think that what :smittler: is getting at is the threads you create on the things you have done is like you are trying to bring attention to yourself....

Kinda like anyone making a thread and telling/making up some stories for attention from a freaking web board...just seems like that person is looking for anybody to give them the time of day for some attention wether good or bad.
just my .02

Yea thats it. I need the attention. I'll die if I dont get it from this board.

I start threads about good or bad things that have happened. Its not like I have a mission to cause attention to myself. I dont even really start that many threads, and when I do, its usually something interesting/funny that happened. I dont start a shitload of threads just for the hell of it.

Clue phone, line 2. It's the proctologist. He's found your head.

I've done plenty wrong. But I don't abuse other people's property. How would you like it if I came into your place of business and started fucking things up? And then you have to take money out of your budget to fix my damages. Seems fair, right?

And don't give us a line of all you did is drive around in the "mud"... Then why even say all the other shit like, jumping and drifting? Why lie about something like this on the internet of all places. I don't get you.

Please don't piss me off on this, because this is something that is closer to me than you can ever imagine.

Obviously, the wit in my first post escapes you. Cmon, 'sweet jumps'? Obvious Napoleon Dynamite reference. That was my whole intention, to mess around a little bit. You guys are way too sensitive. And piss you off? How so? This shit pisses me off. How are you gonna get mad about me driving my rental in the mud?
