Yeah but the brain fragments in the third pic are kinda disgusting if you ask me.......As a matter of fact dont ask me cuz im not even sure if thats her brain Makes me GLAD I owned a Honda Civic when I was 18. As reclkless as I used to be that car was waaaay too slow to get me into serious trouble IMO. RIP and condolences to this poor girls family

I did some stupid things when I was a kid/that age, but I was never dumb enough to drive like a maniac, WHILE drunk, in a STOLEN car that belonged to my parents no less. Natural selection at work... too bad the Porsche didn't have a say in the matter.

Definitely gruesome, but after seeing pics of a motorcyle accident at well into triple speeds...

I don't think this should be locked. Its one hell of a reality check for those who don't realize this happens all the time.

That doesn't make much sense at all. I'm sure your Honda Civic could hit 120mph easily, which in turn could have caused the same outcome.

Makes perfect sense. Like the guy below you said I had the 1.5 liter, 90hp civic. I would need a VERY LOOOOOOOOONG stretch of road to reach 100mph So speeding that fast at a toll booth was very unlikely. 120mph is every Civic owner's fantasy

Reading that article, something doesn't make sense. The parents keep making the daughter out to be this perfect little angel, and yet a child such as the one they described doesn't just suddenly decide to take her father's expensive sports car without permission and then head onto a toll road to drive like an insane maniac.

Regardless, the people sending the pictures to the family are absolutely horrid and indecent and should stop immediately just out of human decency.

Looks like someone in CHP gave his friend (also a cop) those pictures and he in turn posted them on automotivetech.org

I believe the CHP person who had leaked the photos would be disciplined after the investigation. Too bad an irreparable harm has already been done.

They probably didn't think things would flare up like this, but as always things in this life are judged by what they did, not by what they intended to do.

The portrait of the loving docile girl in the article does seem somewhat incongruous with what I've heard about the accident, but what do I know to judge teenage girls these days.
