Rear tire wear

Had an alignment did on an 04 acura tl. Zeroed out the toe.rear tires continue to wear every few weeks.should I have weight loaded the vehicle before the alignment. Would putting bump stops on rear struts stop this horrible rear inner tire wear.i have had the car aligned and adjusted 3 times in 4 months.my rear tires are shredding from inside.Burnt out 5 tires on rear .

any adjustable parts installed? Might want to consider it... 3g TL have issues with rear suspension geometry loaded vs. unloaded...

the best place to get an alignment is the dealer imho. All they do is work on Honda / Acura and they will be able to get it right for you.

I bet the toe bolt for the rear is moving when you hit bumps/potholes.

I installed adjustable arms and locked out that bolt so it can't move.

Maybe.
Is your car a non-Navi?

If so, there was a TSB for it, per this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/tires-w...e-done-601284/.

TSB 05-050 for '04 and '05 TL with Turanzas (which I think were TLs without Navi units)
See https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-016-a-613659/.

Hmm... My 5AT Navi TL came with Michelin MXM-4s as OEM.
IDK if the Turanza tires were OEM on the TL by region, Navi or transmission type.
There shouldn't be any suspension differences between Navi and non-Navi versions, but there are slight suspension & tuning differences between the 5AT and 6M versions.

I'd get the bump stops regardless-- it can't hurt, given the tire wear you're experiencing. The alignment specs look good.
