Rear control arms for '07 TSX

I'm not that knowledgable when it comes to working on cars, and don't do much work on mine on my own. I have an '07 TSX which I took in for an alignment yesterday. The shop told me that everything was fine now, but in the future I should look to invest in some rear control arms because the factor set up on the rear suspension is pretty much fixed and isn't adjustable to any significant degree, and over time, they won't be able to adjust the rear alignment properly without proper rear control arms.

I was wondering if anyone could comment on this. Are they just trying to sell me something that isn't needed, or do rear control arms address a real after market need because of a flaw in the original design? They wanted almost $600 for the job (parts and labor).

Just so you know, I don't race my car as it's just used for commuting to work and the occassional out of town trip. Perhaps if it was modified for racing, it may be more important. Just wondering if anyone with more automotive expertise could please comment. Thanks.

Is your car lowered at all? If not then there is no need.
