Just got the news that my friend got a 98 M3. Should i race him? yes no?? please help. also he is a pretty good stick driver since he had a maxima before that. Oh and for all those m3 guru's whats the easiest way to hook his ride up?? I just told him to chip it. and do any of you guys know any good beemer fourm? thnx.

He'll still beat you. I think you should race him. C'Mon, you got a CL-S...it's time to stop beating up on Integras and Civics and go after the big boys. Remember what I told you, when my TL was hooked up there was no point in wasting gas on Civics, etc. cuz you know you're going to kick his ASS. The M3, don't you at least want to know how well you do? I use to race Mustang Cobras, Camaros, and other big boys simply cuz I wanted to see where my car lacked power. If he wants to spend some $$$ tell him to Dinan his M3 down. They have turbos for his car. My friend has a 98 M3 with turbo, intake, chip, exhaust and his 1/4 mile time is in the high 11's low 12's. He beats up on most cars out there on a regular basis.

yah go race him..i did race a 98 m3 last friday..i won ..from stop to 50 miles. cause we are in local..m3 is good..but not as powerful than our car...and maybe that m3 is auto transmition too..so....
