Quick question on car purchase!

Hey guys my gf just recently paid for a new car at the dealership on Friday with most of the paper work done while she needs to go to her insurance place to get their papers signed on Monday which is tomorrow. now question is since we are suppose to go on long trip early in the morning, does anyone know if its possible for the dealership to have the car on the lot w/o charging something until Tuesday when we get back?

- I'm arguing that they should be able to hold the car cause you already paid for it and its not going anywhere...for 1 day! and also that she needs to resign something. before the car can be under her name.

-She says that they might charge her for holding it and not picking it up...

If you already paid for the car, what's the problem? I doubt the dealer is going to charge a holding fee of any sort if the car has been sold already.

I have NEVER heard of a dealer charging a holding fee especially since the car is sold, if they do it's ridiculous

Why not just tell them you cant pick the car up till Tuesday and see what they say. Doubt they will care but better than assuming its fine.

x2, I don't think the dealer would mind.
