Proof of $20K dealer markup on EVOs!
Holy Moly!
If you zoom enough on the upper left corner of the image, you can make out the dealer who is selling this car at this insane price.

Oh, what other cars I could buy for 50K!
And no, a Mitsubishi would not be on that list!
It seems like the target buyer for this is what, 24-30. I'm not sure many of the boy racers in this group are going to be able to shell out 50 large on this baby.
How the hell would you insure that? I doubt any insurance company would give you more than sticker without paying some hefty premiums.

Even though i wouldn't pay that much for that car, i can see why dealers would charge this much. If they honestly feel they can sell this car for that much, then more power to them. Its only this much because the demand for it is too high, so i blame the manufactuers for not producing enough EVO's, not the dealer for charging more.

But, these aren't even the loaded-ass EVOs they were originally promoting. I thought they were leaving some things out of this year's model. And, they're still getting this high a demand?!?

because the dealers think that the car is hot shit and people will pay more then its worth. but they will realize that they wont sell shit, and the car isn't all that good after all, and is sure as hell not worth an m3.

So, a STi should go for about $65,000? Hmmm, Evo or M3? Tough choice.
I really hope that people are loud and vocal about protesting this crap.
I am considering sending a rant, just because I am bored: http://www.capitolmitsubishi.com/en_US/
