Priced similarily, which car?
IMO, Gallardo. Hands down.
Then again, I'm partial to Lamborghini's. I just think they looks so amazingly awesome.
To me, once you are in that 'category' or class of car, it doesn't really matter if the F360 is better performance wise (I'm not sure if it is or not), cause at that point, you are already going to be faster than most people on the road, and the ones you aren't faster then...who cares?? You've got a bomb ass lookin car!
EDIT: Don't tell me you are getting one of these otherwise you are going to have to cough up the NSX to meh.

I don't think this is much of a choice, lambo all the way. If you were comparing F430 vs. Gallardo I think it boils down to which flavor you want, but the 360 is not in the same league as the F430 or Gallardo. In terms of performance, technology, cost of ownership, etc.... the Gallardo wins. You would have to be a complete Ferrari nut to choose the 360, not that there is anything wrong with that. In similar price range there is also the Vantage V8, if you want less performance and more of a cruiser and its hard to ignore the 911 twin turbo, you can get one new for less money then either of these used and in terms of performance, reliability, etc... it is the obvious choice of a super car on a budget, kind of scary to say a car in the mid $100k range is a budget car! Many argue that the 911 isn't near as flashy as the Lambo or Ferrari and maybe they are right, but not everyone wants to stand out like a sore thumb.
I don't think there is a wrong choice, I just feel the 360 would be the least wise.

I've debated this issue for a long time with myself and a few friends for which I'd choose. Having just driven a 360 Spyder a couple of days ago, the whole Ferrari thing is still fresh in my heart. However, I prefer Lamborghinis in general. After many considerations, I'd go with a used Gallardo. In terms of performance, noise and looks, it blows it out of the water. Now if it was the F430, this would be a no-brainer. Another thing that I'd point out, I noticed when I was car hunting with the sports cars that the G depreciates much easier than the F-car. 04's in very good condition can be found between 100-120 whereas Ferraris in that price range are much harder to find. Like iTimmy said, the Vantage is in that price range and is something worth looking at.

COMPLETELY AGREE.
Once you reach a class of performance that is impractical for real-world driving, you have to base your decision on LOOKS.
Esp. if you are not married or single.

(notice, girlfriends fall into this range. as they will quickly become replacable once you are capable to afford a car of this stature).

I think the gallardo looks better, and probably less dated as it is still in production.
I've never heard raves about how the 360 drove, in fact, i've only really heard criticism about it. It's not an ugly car, but I never though it was that great looking. I'd almost rather just buy a 355 instead.
I've also heard the gallardo just feels like you are driving a TT, so I think I'd really have to get some seat time in both to make a decision.

BTW, this should seal the deal - Go to 3:05 in this video - Clarkson in a tunnel in the Gallardo

In terms of cost of ownership, I've heard the Gallardo is MUCH easier on the wallet. Couldn't your standard Audi dealership service the Gallardo engine if need be?
I've had the opportunity to drive a 360 spyder with the F1 trans, and it was beyond words.
I think the 360 may have more spirit and personality than the Gallardo, but as far as ownership with money being a slight concern, I'd have to go with the Lambo.
...But you'd win either way!

But out of the price range for the cars in comparison.
