Pit stop at Lambo. Dallas (15 pics)

Was on the way back from running an errand & decided to make a stop at the dealer's new facility. A quick chat & a new hat, I snapped few photos.

Forgive my shady editing on most. I haven't really photographed anything in a while & made a few mistakes on trying to work with the dealer's incredibly dim lighting & the cars' dark colors, which is probably why the SV came out better than the rest.

Cars & Coffee this Saturday should help me really get back into this.

I figured you all of people would spot that being a very good photographer. I'm in the process of getting a new lens altogether here soon.

Its not the lens its dust on your camera's sensor. Not sure which body you have or how comfortable you are cleaning it yourself....but you should able to have a pro shop do it for about 20-30 bucks.

The extra $45 is really unnecessary.

Sweet cars though.

Very sure that whoever buys the car will be forking over $500,000 when all the paper work & extra fees are done.

wonder how the commission is structured for the dealer/salesman....high end / exotic car salesmen seem wealthier and more qualified (education-wise) than R/E brokers...and the turnover for a 500k lambo is obviously much less frequent than a 500k home. so im assuming the salesman is pocketing much more than 5%. the avg salesman in a aston/bentley/etc dealership is usually wearing a thousand dollar suit and is eloquent as an ivy leaguer.

My patient works at the exotic dealership and he told me his commission on a Maserati Gran Turismo is only a couple grand and not that different from what he earns selling an Audi A6.

Maybe for Bentley or Aston, but Lamborghini has been in an extremely rough spot this year ever since Vik. K. of the Orange County dealership undersold the cars by thousands & pocketed the cash from VAG.

Lamborghini Dallas is so far, one of the top sellers for the brand in the US & even they are not exactly making huge commissions. From what I saw, one of the salesmen drives a FJ Cruiser, another drove a '11 Altima, & one drives a John Works Cooper S model.

It may not be there anymore. When I went in, it was in the back of the dealer awaiting an interested buyer.

Could be back, though. The SV will be there, so it won't be a total waste of time, either.
