Anyone know whos car this is. There were a few problems with the vehicle which caused my friend to not buy the damn thing. I was there to convince him to not get it because of the problems. The car is in New york and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about this car and the original owner. I just know what the dealer told me.
The vehicle had the comptech supercharger as you can see, comptech headers, ramus exhaust, body kit and this ridiculous wing in the back and lights in the front.

Supercharger or not. That wing made the whole car look like shit. I also hate the fog lights with the road lamps. One or the other, not both.

 

We ended up not buying the damn thing cause first off all it was ugly and the VSA would not turn on. THe damn light was on all the time and i kept on pushing it and the light would just stay on. I dont know if the original owner bypassed the VSA or what. And the major problem was that the engine light was on. As soon i saw that. we were about the walk away from the dealer then we decided to just test drive it for the hell of it. It did sound nice though. That was about it. Oh the car was cheap as hell regarding the amount of aftermarket products on it.

Well, technically aftermarket products actually subtract from the value of the car, although I'm sure the supercharger is an exception.

Anyway, weird that it was so shitty. There are several S/Ced members on here and they seem to be running fine. Probably other issues with the car.. better off you stayed away....

Heck, thats what i said. But still now worth it cause the engine light was on and the vsa was not working. God knows what type of problem the car had.

 

I would consider it if it was from Acura dealer but this looks like some small guy dealer so just let it go I guess.
One advise… if its sounds too good to be true chances are it’s not true.
Something is fishy about that TL.

PS:I wish I could smack previous owner for that wing tho.

I would tell the guy that I would buy it but first I would have him take it to an acura dealership and have everything fixed under warranty and then I would buy it. Of course wing would go. And I would still try to talk him down to $20K. First and foremost, take the vin# down and call acura and ask if the warranty is still valid.
