out of happiness....(VW content)
so i am happy now i get my car back anytime between tomorrow and monday. i got rear ended two weeks ago and this is what happened.
anyways the car hasnt changed much other than a new exhaust and other things you cant see. im getting the old style rs4 wheels for the car soon as well as new coilovers since these ones do not go low enough. lol anyways here you go.

That golf is sick. Is it a 337? My brother has a gti 1.8t with the anni skirt's and I have a 98 Drivers edition VR6 for my fun car... that car is really sick. RS4's will look sick. Are you on Vortex?

thanks man i love the car. its a 20th number 0591. 1.8t are great cars but i still wish i had a mk2 gti with a vr6 swap in it. yea rs4 are awesome both styles im going with the original style. yea im on the vortex but im just a lurker of sorts there. dont post much there.

Sweet bro! Me and my brother are in the market for a MK2 Jetta Coupe. We are planning to turn it into a VR6. If we find one, judging on the condition, if its mint, ill swap everyting for my jazz blue gti and put swap the VR in it and full mk3 Leather seats and 5 bolt conversion with the 11.3" brakes.

As for the mk2 GTI with a vr6 in it, my friend has had 2, one a green hatchback and now a Jetta 4 door w/a vr6. I put that hatchback down by 2 and a 1/2 cars (i/h/e/clutch/flywheel on the GTI vr6) with a huge exhaust and vacuum leak, so if u were looking for one for speed, u'd be better off with a swapped CL lol. I haven't raced the Jetta yet though, cuz it keeps breaking haha. Either way, hope u get ur wheels back soon!

oh i will be stage 3 here eventually. saving loot isnt easy when you wanna buy other things too. im at 100k so a engine hone new seals and what not are needed at this stage to make sure it lasts. but once its at a stage 3 i wont drive it every day

Stage 3 is some serious shit lol. Even as an anti-dubber, i was amazed at my boys APR Stage 3+ mk4 GTI. 330hp to the wheels on a t28 and rods and pistons done among other mods, it was ridiculously fast. Stage 1 is a waste though and stage 2 is ok, but if it were me I'd just save for stage 3, esp after seeing that thing move.

wow what an idiot.
I love VW, I think all of the VW cars I love. They just have so much personality and the aftermarket support is ENDLESS. I always wanted a mk1 GTI, slamed on some fat 14"s with some poke and just clean clean paint. Doing the fishbowl thing with no tint and 1.8T or 16VT. That would be my summer car and I would it would GO FAST hahaha

Great looking VW. Glad you're getting it back soon. What have you been driving in the meantime?
I've always had an affection for the R32. I remember when they came out and I was all set on getting one. Never happened but who knows, if I ever move back to a wintery state I might have to look into getting one as a fun DD. I'm sure they're hard as hell to find though.

My current GTI lease is up September 4...I still don't know what to do. Not sure if it's worth waiting for the '10 GTI (I really do like my car!), I doubt it's going to have an appealing lease program when it first comes out. It is a bit disappointing to see the '10 model lacking a lot of the features that I currently have out of the box, the new model will have a lot of the the standard things I had as an option, not to mention the same EXACT engine (hp/tq)/suspension/transmission as the MKV, it's a bit of a letdown. Would have expected a little more power, guess not (or wait for the R20)..If not that or a JCW Mini, I do have my heart set on an M3 or some sort of BMW..Decisions decisions...
