Old American Car Brochures.
Some of you may find this interesting:

Someone took the time to scan almost every brochure available for American cars originally sold decades ago.

Terry, you did an old gearhead good. Not that old mind you, but old enough to remember a lot of the cars on this list. And if you look at the 1964 Chevrolet Corvair picture that shows the driver's door open and a different dash arrangement than what you might expect, that's the Spyder, a turbocharged Corvair. That was my first car and yes, I bought it new. Picked it up on Saturday, July 25, 1964. Mine was maroon with black vinyl interior. Over the year and a half I had that car, I modified it and ran it at a few local drag strips. My best 1/4 mile time was a 15.44 E.T. at 89.79 MPH. I managed to damage the flywheel in the process. Corvairs were NOT meant for 5000 RPM launches and runs on a drag strip.
In November, 1965, I ordered a '66 427 Corvette. Both convertible tops, Laguna Blue with bright blue interior was the color, side pipes, 3.70 posi rear, some other goodies and most of all, the unadvertised LPO 427 L74 engine which was rated at 450 HP. Two weeks later, my stepfather talked my mother out of signing for the loan. He was afraid that was not the best car for a teenager. So in March, '66, I ordered a 396 Chevelle with the L34 360 HP (they balked at the L78 375 engine, too), and that is what I received four weeks and two days later.
Thanks so much for this link! A walk through auto-history for many of us.

I thought a few of you guys would like the trip down memory lane.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
A friend forwarded it to me, and I spent a couple hours going through the brochures. Good memories.

...amazing amount of imformation!
I still have the owners manual for my 1967 Chevelle (my 1st car) in the garage...![Sad](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
I also enjoyed the ones for the 1961 and 1964 Impalas! (mine were both SS's)

Such a great find. Loved looking at the '72 K5 Blazer brochure. I miss that truck.

Awesome find. Thanks for sharing. I was able to find the brochures for the 1975 Chevy Bel-Air that I rode in as a kid living in Wyoming, then Germany in the late 70's and early 80's, and the POS 1976 Chevy Nova Concours coupe that gave my Dad fits when we lived in England in the mid-70s.
