Oil wastes?

Where do you throw away your used engine oils?

I use it along with cotton balls to make completely quiet curtain tracks for my curtains. It's amazing, they're completely silent!

in hawaii, we are told to absorb it and throw it in the trash. They sell oil change boxes filled with like a dryer lint kind of recycled material. All our municipal waste is sent to H-power, a waste to energy facility, where it is combusted to convert to electricity, so I guess in a sense it is recycled. It was weird for me to do this at first, but it sure is convenient.

In California, I would take it to the local pepboys/autozone or whatever and they had tanks to pour it in.

If neither of these are options, I would probably find a duck or otter to pour it on. Or leave it next to my bed.

Where ever you bought it...

If they sell it, they are supposed to take back the old stuff (at least in MA).

I usually bring it back to pepboys or autozone (cause those places are convenient).

I just pull up onto the curb over the storm drain so I can drain it right in. I don't want to get my bucket all dirty with oil

I have a 5 gallon pail that I pour it in. When that's full, I'll take it to Pepboys.

You know you can't take credit for killing all those fish, some of them may have died of natural causes + I pour all my antifreeze in a creek in North Carolina too. Some of those dead fish are mine........hands off

Yeah but I also pour tranny fluid in the creek so I would say 80% of those dead fish are mine.

Look, I'm willing to split the dead fish 60/40 in your favor, but that's my final offer.

I like to go out on a river and pour it out and then set the oil on fire and pretend I'm in Cleveland.

Damn, I like your style. That gets rid of the oil and cooks the fish all at once!
