The GTR is a performance beast and there's no new porsche for 80k that can touch it.

Plus too many people buy Porsches just for the badge and don't even care/know about performance. People who buy the GTR, an 80k Nissan, clearly don't care too much that the badge on their car isn't BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche.

there are two silver ones in the national G club ive seen that black one you guys talk about in MD and a white one in springfield. i dont think the car is so "meh" b/c when your driving on the road you can definately notice it and as soon as you sit in it its definately not "meh"

I wouldn't say ''whoop up'' but more like ''can hang with'' but a used 997TT can be found at auction for around 80k or on some lots if you search hard enough.

How much are people *really* paying for a GT-R though? At it's sticker price it's the performance bargain of the century. At what they're really going for though? The ZR-1 wins.

They're going for sticker here. Even the audi r8 has been sticker for the past 4 months. Beautiful white one with black sideblades sitting in the audi showroom, yummy!

It's interesting that a 3.7L V6 doesn't sound as good as a 4.0L V8.

Who would have thought that .3L and two extra cylinders would make such a difference?

I'll take the M3's V8 sound over that GTR's V6 any day.
