Dat timing of the shot, doe!
Woot! I just scored red carpet from an 09 AP2, and OEM AP1 lip (condition may not be all that good) and headrest windblockers from the s2ki classifieds!

I was going back and forth and was really caught up in the fact that me adding spacers to these messed the fenders up. Realized I could raise slightly, flare the fender slightly by hand without damaging the new paint work (body work straightened the fender out almost too much) and put them back on. I love the stock wheels but these fit the body style so well and look great spinning.
Went to a friend's house with ce28's on their ap1 and decided to give them another whirl last night before the Heat game, raised car another 1/8" of threading and slapped them on and loved it. Glad I didn't sell em just yet, I love the factory wheels but it's hard to consider the aesthetic transformation done without wheels.
Thanks, everyone.

Looks like my Silverstone Spoiler arrived from Taiwan today, too. Any install tips, J?

Ouch, sorry to hear, Tyler...that happened to me once with a fucking mop handle on my TL. I was furious.
I have that same Perrin stubby antenna...the other day I noticed the HD radio channels seemed spotty so I tried the oem one again, holy shit is the reception so much better with the OEM. Have you noticed that?

Like a lot of car enthusiasts, I am super OCD with paint & body condition and I tend to notice the smallest imperfections - with that being said, I usually tend to exaggerate them a bit

My roommate said he could barely notice it, he said I made it sound like the whole rear quarter panel had collapsed and caught fire

Rough estimate brings me to about $200 so far - hopefully it's repaired this week along with a few other dents on my driver side door.
In regards to the antenna, oh yeah .. AM / FM reception has done down quite a bit on some stations, others are hardly affected. Most of the time, I just use my iPod for AUX connectivity and rarely use the radio.
My car came with Rick's over sized win blocker for between the rollbar hoops. That makes a BIG difference in wind buffeting at speed, too.
$88 sounds a lot better than $350 plus for a non-3rd brake light spoiler.
I couldn't believe how much these things were from Honda/parts suppliers.

Yes sir, I think I know the picture too...spoiler finish is absolutely perfect, so far, a few months in, paint is holding up just fine. They provide all you need to install it...I just did double sided tape.
Only tip would be to take your time with prep and placement...wipe down with alcohol prior...use masking tape to make sure that your'e lining up on the sides and it's sitting perfectly on the HUMP of the trunk.
Tyler...I know the feeling, friend. When I made the fender worse...I could see NOTHING more than the damage I had done even though, in pictures now, it looked fine overall. hahaha...

Damn you guys, give my wallet a break - I ordered the spoiler too
I'm planning on painting the wheels & windshield frame ... what would you guys pick?
Black wheels w/ black windshield frame?

or
White wheels and leave windshield frame alone?

White on white that's Fucking ROSS.
Tyler, if you do black windshield and/or wheels. I will plead to all moderators until they ban you forever.
So, option 2, in other words.

Sorry to hear about the board.
Make sure the fluid is warm before pumping and it will go a lot easier.

Done working on cars today, lol - so pissed.
Get under the car, everything goes smoothly until I get to the bottom of my first quart - fluid pump breaks a seal and won't hold pressure. Nearest Autoparts store is 20 minutes away, pickup another one ... breaks on the second quart
I managed to get 2 quarts in there and rowed through all the gears, car shifts smoother - I'll post up my thoughts in the next 1000 miles or so.
Now, here's where I almost lost it.
6ft 2x4 was leaning on the garage wall, gust of wind came in and blew it right onto my rear quarter panel while I was gone.

Paintless dent removal quote coming soon.

Tyler...white on white is tits.
Taiwan spoiler first impressions:
A lot lighter than I expected. Paint and finish look good. Comes with alcohol prep pad and tube of adhesive primer...nice touch. Also comes with a roll of half inch 3M tape, but I think I will use one inch. Supposed to rain here every day until the weekend so I gotta wait til Friday to install. Fast shipping. Wish they made an OEM AP1 front lip replica painted for $80! Perhaps something for their suggestion box?

They're actually very willing to listen...I tried to get them to make the CSL spoiler for the TL crowd, but they need a mold of one or something and there's a language barrier. Actually...the girl that had been what'sapping me from Taiwan was pretty hot.
I should ask for newdz.

If anyone else needs AP2 wheels, a set just went for sale local to me on CL for $250. I'd be more than happy to inspect them for anyone interested.

Ooo, some nasty rash, but these would be great PC candidates. Wish I had the duckies to spend!
I'm picking up an OEM lip that the guy is throwing in with the carpet im buying this weekend. I wonder what condition the lip would need to be in for the molding process?

Wow...pricing on PDR has come up a LOT! Makes me feel slightly better about my fender metal work and respray!
Good stuff, man...it'll be worth it to keep it perfect.
I'll never forget the first time taking my car out in the rain
- Had no idea how tail happy the car was under moderate throttle until it nearly did a 360 on the onramp, skinny 225 tires on AP1 wheels didn't help either.
Now that I've become more familiar with the car with much wider wheels, I'm always excited to drive it in the rain
Must. Hoon.

LMAO...oh yeah, I can go nuts with the stock 245's on the back, I have to be much more choosy about how much throttle I give it with the 225's all around on the TE's. Honestly though, it makes you a more conscientious driver when you have to be on point and also makes it a LOT easier to have a little fun here and there.
fkn go cart that it is...
