About an hour and a half outside San Antonio, 4 hours from Houston. The local s2000 group went this past wknd but I was unable to make the trip. gf wanted to take me to Dallas to some spa thing for my birthday. I politely declined and opted to do the drive instead. she's on board so we'll make the trip out there.

Hard tops add on average 10whp and 25wtq though. With a soft top you get nothing.

Soft tops aren't cheap. And of course, oem is 50x the price of aftermarket.
The oem is known to eventually rip. So maybe going aftermarket isn't a bad idea. A friend was considering one but didn't end up going through with it... but it seemed like a legit alternative to oem.
To answer your question , Jeff, yes, there are aftermarket soft tops.
