Just ordered this and a Gates belt from Excelerate. Should be a nice butt dyno mod from what I've been hearing.

Too bad it was sold already. That was a pretty good deal if it had the 105k mile service done on it already, but if it didn't then it was fair since the service costs anywhere between $1000-1500 for everything.

OK, so I've had it in trying to integrate the TL DVD-A changer into my Accord. I just bought the Sony MEX-DV2200 for $145 shipped, and it has Doly Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital, and DTS built into the unit without an external decoder. Oh, and it plays SACDs and DVDs too.
Now the only problem I will have is trying to modify my dash above my navi sub-display to accept either a 3.5" or 4" speaker. I noticed there is nothing but plastic there anyways.
I already have an Alpine 275W amp for my sub, I'm wondering if I can just tie into that for the center channel too.
Two other questions: Can I retain the use of steering wheel controls with the Sony MEX-DV2200, and can I somehow still use the stock XM unit with the new headunit?
Thoughts?

I know some aftermarket head unit installers offer steering wheel control connection for an extra $80 bucks. It'll vary.

Installed them last weekend. Install was simple expect for the smaller shift cable housing cotter pin being in a tight spot. I have big hands so it made it a bit difficult to get the pin out, but 30 minutes to install wasn't bad at all. It's not a staggering difference, but I find it a smoother shift and not as notchy as stock. I also noticed that it's easier to get it in gear at low speeds when going over speed bumps and going from neutral back into 1st gear or rolling from a red to green light at about 5-10 mph. For $35 and 30 minutes of my time to install I think it's a worthwile mod. Next I plan on a drain and refill with either new Honda tranny fluid or GM Snyncho Mesh.
