I can see that... especially in a thread of (almost) all flat black cars. However, reason I cannot fully say that is b/c in the real world... they are still pretty rare. Do I see tons of pics of them online and at shows like SEMA... yeah. But out and about, it's rare and definitely gets my attention (and sometimes my drool) every time.

 

it needs to be done right.

 

It would drive me insane not being able to polish/wax my car though.

he must be talking about the cheap paint jobs. a proper satin black is achieved by using a matting agent in the clear coat. it makes the black look super smooth, just not shiny.

 

 

^I know that was posted on here before, although I can't remember if it was in this thread or somewhere else. Still, it looks great. In fact, I used to have that same picture as my desktop at work .
