The Official BMW 3-Series Discussion Thread
Yea i did end up taking them to mini golfing. They think im weird now since i gave them a ton of rules of what not to do in the car.

Today im giving the car a full detail. Will take better pics then. Cant wait to see what the paint looks with a nice layer of carnuba.
Just want to post some better pictures of my car. I drove it a little more this weekend, put in about 100 miles in 3 days. Can't wait till the end of the break-in period, so I can try to push it harder.

Saw you driving your car while I was headed to go play golf on Hwy 94 at about 7:45 in the morning this past Saturday. Really looks great, although I would be terribly nervous driving it on these Chicago roads, as terrible as they are...
Anyway, you really did a nice job with it, very stealth and you immediately take notice when you see it in your rearview whether you are into cars or not.
On that note...
I am seriously considering getting rid of my TL (although my wife would KILL me if I did) Don't get me wrong, I think my TL is great, everything I expected when I bought the car, sporty yet reliable, it just gets boring after awhile.
I am going to test drive an E92 M3 sedan when I can find the time, but I will have to be honest, I desparately want an Audi RS4 (I would buy a used one). I know I can get a new M3 for just a bit more than a used RS4, but the RS4 is just a car that I absolutely go nuts over. :droo:
We'll see what happens...

I know what's you're saying. The sedan has been growing on me more and more lately. I love the coupe, but after seeing a few sedans on the road and pictures of yours I gotta say they look tight in the right color...

the M3 Sedan is great, I think you could score a good deal on one... Jesal and I have just the salesman to talk to if you're interested. I live in the city, but I went to the suburbs to buy from him, he's great and no hassle.
Having 20s is not that bad and strong wheels helps.30 series actually...

hey guys I just wanted to post this up here before I list in E90 or ebay.
Its a carbon fiber 335 (4 DOOR ONLY) engine cover. I paid like $350 total for it from ebay. I took it to my dealership and told them to install it when the were doing my oil change. Turns out it will only fit the 4dr 335 according to my mech. SO all im asking is $200 TOTAL for it.. if anyone is interested please shoot me a P.M I wont take the payment out of my paypal untill you have it installed on your car.
Here is a pic of it..
P.S to the mods I didnt want to post this in BM because its for a bmw 3..

Thanks to all for the wealth of information in this thread. the group of people on acurazine (bimmerzine) are sometimes more helpful than on e90post!
Details of the car:
2007 Monaco Blue e92 335i
Premium, Sport with paddles and 18" wheels, NAV, Comfort Access

Congrats! Monaco is a great color. What color interior?
It has a black interior with dark wood trim. I would have loved a Terra interior but couldn't find with one the options I wanted.
Jesal! I'm part of the BMWCCA and my local chapter (NCC) sends out a newsletter called, der bayerische. A guy posted his "new car" and it was your old 335i. I recognized it from this thread! if i can find it, i'll scan the article and post it.
i'd post pics of my new ride but it's not worthy next to all these //M cars...lol

Jesal, I found the issue online here: http://db.nccbmwcca.org/2009/2009_0506.pdf check out page 21/32.
JS + TL, I think I got a great deal $29,000 with 39k miles meticulously maintained, new RFTs, no accidents, almost perfect paint. The only drawback to that low price is that the warranty/maintenance is almost up, but i'm pretty savvy with doing my own maintenance and i have a good friend of mine who is a BMW technician.
TommySalami, I went to UMD from 2001-2004. I was there when we won the NCAA Tourney and we started the riot revolution..lol! Congrats on being a senior and good luck!
