Just want to post some better pictures of my car. I drove it a little more this weekend, put in about 100 miles in 3 days. Can't wait till the end of the break-in period, so I can try to push it harder.

All my family and my close friends pretty much know about my rules, and how anal I am about the cleaniness of the car (both inside and outside).

Saw you driving your car while I was headed to go play golf on Hwy 94 at about 7:45 in the morning this past Saturday. Really looks great, although I would be terribly nervous driving it on these Chicago roads, as terrible as they are...

Anyway, you really did a nice job with it, very stealth and you immediately take notice when you see it in your rearview whether you are into cars or not.

On that note...

I am seriously considering getting rid of my TL (although my wife would KILL me if I did) Don't get me wrong, I think my TL is great, everything I expected when I bought the car, sporty yet reliable, it just gets boring after awhile.

I am going to test drive an E92 M3 sedan when I can find the time, but I will have to be honest, I desparately want an Audi RS4 (I would buy a used one). I know I can get a new M3 for just a bit more than a used RS4, but the RS4 is just a car that I absolutely go nuts over. :droo:

We'll see what happens...

I know what's you're saying. The sedan has been growing on me more and more lately. I love the coupe, but after seeing a few sedans on the road and pictures of yours I gotta say they look tight in the right color...

Yup, I was going into work! I was probably driving like a bat outta hell cause I was running late. Thanks for the compliments.

the M3 Sedan is great, I think you could score a good deal on one... Jesal and I have just the salesman to talk to if you're interested. I live in the city, but I went to the suburbs to buy from him, he's great and no hassle.

You have to know how to maneuver when necessary Having 20s is not that bad and strong wheels helps.

hey guys I just wanted to post this up here before I list in E90 or ebay.
Its a carbon fiber 335 (4 DOOR ONLY) engine cover. I paid like $350 total for it from ebay. I took it to my dealership and told them to install it when the were doing my oil change. Turns out it will only fit the 4dr 335 according to my mech. SO all im asking is $200 TOTAL for it.. if anyone is interested please shoot me a P.M I wont take the payment out of my paypal untill you have it installed on your car.
Here is a pic of it..
P.S to the mods I didnt want to post this in BM because its for a bmw 3..

why would is fit only the E90 and not E92, its the same engine, should be the same cover, unless hood clearances are somehow different?

i've been keeping up with this thread for the past couple of weeks for info and entertainment!

and i'm happy to announce an addition to my family... Last Friday, I traded in my 06 Suby Legacy GT for an 07 335i e92, adding another car to the bimmerzine club!!

So i've went from an 01 Acura CL>06 Suby Legacy GT>07 335i

Thanks to all for the wealth of information in this thread. the group of people on acurazine (bimmerzine) are sometimes more helpful than on e90post!

Details of the car:
2007 Monaco Blue e92 335i
Premium, Sport with paddles and 18" wheels, NAV, Comfort Access

Getting a couple of things done to the M3 at a local shop. Needed a ride to work but no one wanted to take me.

So they let me take their M5. Woe is me.

Congrats on the Monaco 335i!! Best color ever!

It has a black interior with dark wood trim. I would have loved a Terra interior but couldn't find with one the options I wanted.

Jesal! I'm part of the BMWCCA and my local chapter (NCC) sends out a newsletter called, der bayerische. A guy posted his "new car" and it was your old 335i. I recognized it from this thread! if i can find it, i'll scan the article and post it.

i'd post pics of my new ride but it's not worthy next to all these //M cars...lol

btw, my friend who wanted to purchase 328i for 45K ended up purchasing the 135i with m-sport package for 39K.

That thing is FAST. I'll post some pictures of it soon.

Jesal, I found the issue online here: http://db.nccbmwcca.org/2009/2009_0506.pdf check out page 21/32.

JS + TL, I think I got a great deal $29,000 with 39k miles meticulously maintained, new RFTs, no accidents, almost perfect paint. The only drawback to that low price is that the warranty/maintenance is almost up, but i'm pretty savvy with doing my own maintenance and i have a good friend of mine who is a BMW technician.

TommySalami, I went to UMD from 2001-2004. I was there when we won the NCAA Tourney and we started the riot revolution..lol! Congrats on being a senior and good luck!

Nice! We can't riot anymore (not that we've had that much of a reason to) because the police have really gotten on top of preventing that stuff. BTW, every year there's a huge car show in the Comcast center parking lot, so remember to come next May with your BMW
