The Official Audi A5/S5 Discussion Thread
i absolutely love that car - it's actually at the top of my list right now. i took it for a test drive a few months back with the intent of buying it (this is before my investments bombed). only reason i didn't pull the trigger then: it was a 6spd manual, i wanted tiptronic for a care-free commute to work in stop-n-go traffic. i believe the tip models are out now, or maybe really soon

I saw an A5 around Alexandria a couple of weeks ago (going E on King St. - I was on the Metro platform) - the headlights were off but the LED running lights were on - they're bright! The car looks amazing. I don't think it was an S5 since I didn't see any red in the grille.
Back in December I saw an S5 in a parking lot of a mall in Puerto Rico. It was sticking out of the parking spot and it had very little room on either side. I felt bad for the poor car.
If the 09 A4 looks as sexy as the A5 does in person, the TSX may be gone soon.

I know each car in the line up is suppose to follow a design theme that is common to a given company but I think Audi has taken that notion a bit too seriously. Every damn Audi looks the same to me
, yes? Maybe?

ps. I didn't like it when I first saw - and have made a few posts to that effect here. But it has grown on me quite greatly. I'm kind of surprised myself.

pure class. Where the M3 has a look of sport and brawn, this thing is just absolute class. I would take the M3 over this, but it would be a very hard decision, probably filled with minor regret.
I have to admit the S5 is absolutely stunning, exterior wise. But Audi has a major problems with there interoir design. They need alot of work, I mean I'm sure they don't use cheap materials
but the way the interior looks I think and alot of people would agree that its far below there exterior design. For me a car design must be stunning both in the exterior and interior...

I can't stand it! It just isn't possible for a car to look that good! It defies the laws of physics! Must ...earn .....more .....money!
