I don't know how I missed this update, but congrats. I remember when you stated this would be your next car.
Very, very, good selection you made there. Pleasing the Mrs. and yourself at the same time is a major plus. Can't go wrong with that!

Yeah wife is definitely on board. She is a little afraid to drive it though.

Missed this thread. Nice pickup! I thought about one of these when I was considering replacing my V sedan a few months ago. I like it but this time wanted to go with a manual transmission.

For all your corney cougar jokes you've polluted my threads with, I will add one thing: Your wife is a smart woman; you will not be picking up any cougars in that.

You gotta drive an R-Spec. I did. It's not a bad ride at all, and it gets great mileage for the performance it puts out. The V is indeed better, but the Genny R-Spec is definitely not chopped liver.

I have no need for a cougar mobile. My wife of 11 1/2 years is the love of my life. It's the perfect combo of utility and performance for me. I did drive a CTS rental and trying to comfortably fit 3 kids in the back was tough.

I dont want to bash the guy's new car; Im sure its a good family mill with decent power for what it is. But, I would probably have early signs of depression going from a ZR1 LS9 based V8 to a Hyundai V8....
