NSX - R GT or Enzo?

And at 399 units, is 394 units more than this NSX. Even if demand for this NSX is half that of the Ferrari's, the fact that there are only 5 units will make it a collectors item with price equal to or exceeding that for the Ferrari's in the future.
Take a look at some other rare cars such as the Brock Daytona Coupe. Those things are worth several millions of dollars these days because only 7 real ones are in existence.

Ya but demand for the NSX is far less than half that of the Ferrari. I also think the Brock Daytona is a poor comparison because that car has quite a history and heritage. The NSX is just a souped up NSX.

The EXTREME low production is really more of a problem than a bonus for a collector car, it will never get much mainstream press and never have the wide eyed following of a Ferrari. This might be a different story IF the cars gather a great racing legacy, then it might be a different story, however this isn't going to happen. First I ASSUME it is a JDM only product, that alone will prevent any significant collector traction here, and you may have issues with getting DOT approval. Second it is an Acura, which has never had a product that got near the attention of anything Ferrari. In the end it is a one off that you could copy visually and performance wise for far less than the asking price starting with a NSX or NSX-r, try doing that with an Enzo. The "a lot more rare than any Ferrari" statement shows how little you actually know about Ferrari's history!
I also think you might not be giving the Enzo much credit when it comes to the track, it is lighter than a NSX (though I am not sure of the NSX-r weight as I know it is lighter than the NSX) and it has 650hp and 485lbft. I also think you are giving too much credit to the NSX-r, first we all know it had significantly more then 276hp and we know exactly why it was listed as such, further we saw the NSX-r when driven at the limit for 4 laps overheated, the Lambo that finally got around it (but would have gotten serious distance had it been able to pass earlier, having come from a LONG way back) runs 0-186mph in 37.6 seconds where the Enzo does it in 26.1 seconds! In the end I seriously doubt it would be bye bye Ferrari!

What relevant racing series has it dominated?I mean a series that people care about, one with global appeal.

Winning is winning.....now determining how good a car is determined by how many people watch on TV? NSX has a great heritage and for you to say the NSX-R GT is just a souped up NSX....yer talkin outta your ass. Even more so that the NSX has more race proven than the ENZO.

not talking about overall value Just saying, i'd rather have the NSX R GT than the enzo.

Acura cars just do not have the the same collector value as the cars from Maranello. Compare the prices F1s are fetching compared to Enzos, then compare that to the MSRP...see low production and even lengendary widely acclaimed, low production supercars don't fare well against the ones with the prancing pony.

Umm..I was comparing the NSX to the Brock Daytona, not the Enzo. And I certainly was not talking about how "good" the car is, but how valuable it will be. Re-read my post, and the post i was reponding to.
who talking out of what ass?

Explain to me how it is NOT just a souped up NSX. That is exactly what it appears to be from what I have seen here, enlighten me if there is more info to be had. I am not arguing that it isn't a good or excellent "souping" but when you build only 5 cars it pretty much HAS to be a simple soup up or else it will cost a FORTUNE to build and Honda usually doesn't follow business plans that are doomed to finacial failure.

Pit Stop?
Also, which do you think will make more panties drop on the strip? We all know that's what the majority of Enzos and NSXs are used for, since no one in this country even knows how to go to a track.

And how is this not a souped up NSX? Isn't that the requirement of these racing leagues that is IS a souped up version of whatever production car?

do the reseearch and understand....otherwise don't use logic, because it's only 5 cars it can't be this or that.....

OK first there is very little SOLID information on this car. Speculation regarding if it will be all CF like the Lemans car, whether it will be Turboed or not, whether it is just a homolagation car to change so dimensions in order to help curb the NSXs recent poor showings in JGTC. The reseearch (sic) just isn't completely possible.
I understand why you don't want logic, it doesn't work for fanboys!
It would seem that anything has to be either this or that, because everything is either this or that, then again that is logical...
In the end I stick to my guns with the Enzo, because I could actually legally drive it on the road in the country I live in, this souped up NSX (yes fanboys it is merely a souped up NSX because if it wasn't it wouldn't be a JGTC clone now would it??) would look good in the garage or look good towing ti to and risking it on the track.

If you have 50,000,000.00 Yen to spend on a car, you won't care whether or not you can drive it on the road legally.

NSX GT is still built of 14 year old technology. Enzo is built from the newest F-1 tech possible. Its not even close.

I love the NSX. Its 16-17 year old technology can still beat some of the very finest in exotic sports cars. But, as Top Gear has said, despite this, it's about time the NSX was either updated or killed. "Honda, step away from the NSX." With this thing, I finally agree. I really don't think all of that stuff is worth friggen $500k, unless of course, it can beat an Enzo on the track. If it does and dethroans the Enzo as the best all around production car (if in fact this is one), I'd like it. And yeah, Turbos are over-rated and played out IMO. Honda is just bored.
