Noticed something interesting about TL-S...
I was at the dealer yester day and was looking at all of the different cars. One thing caught my attention: The wheel size of the TL-S is 17 x 6.5 whereas the CL-S has 17 x 7 wheels. I have always thought that the wheels were the exact same, but I guess not.

yea, their wheels are skinnier...
i prefer our wider wheels... but the benefit of theirs is that their supposedly less prone to scratching.
But i say... if you hit a curb in any wheel its gonna scratch. just stay away.

I wouldnt mind getting the Tl-S rims on my car. Less rotational mass to move=faster performance. BTW the TL has been around longer then the CL.

The wheels aren't less prone to scratching because the difference is in the backspacing. The dimension from the hub flange to the wheel lip is the same for both models.

If I was 18 again, I would not want a large 4-door sedan. Everyone would say, "got your mom's car again"
Sorry, CL-S rules!!!!!
I wonder how many of those tls body kits acura sells. The tls is target for an older goup, who would be less likely to put on some extra plastic. Acura missed the mark with its marketing of the cls (especially in the bass output of the stock stereo).
If I get an older jeep for winter, I am really considering getting my CLS modded into a convertible. I would really hate to get a solara.
Any places in NJ or vicinity that does good work on this?

Yeah, but it sure is fun blowing 2-dr cars off the line, like those riced out Civics/Integras/Neons/Sentras... and IS 300s, 330Ci/i, on, and on. Wouldn't mind finding a CLS to toy with. By the way, if you go to Acura-TL.com, and check out the TLS forum, you can see the age of people that own them. So many kids... most are 19-26. When I got my DWP TLS my boss saw it and said: "My parents have the same car, but with 2 doors."
