Not Everyday You See One Like This

I sold my 2004 SSM TSX earlier this year to help free up some money for my wedding, but now that I have my money back up - I plan on buying a car when I get back from my deployment out to sea this October. I still haven't been able to shake the memory of one car ever since I test drove it in the Winter of 2004. Well lurking around on another forum - I found one that is done correctly.

Can you guess what kind of car it is before clicking on the link? It has always been a TSX cross shopped car...

AWD
250 HP
Sleeper

MYSTERY MOBILE

Would you pull the trigger on this one without even driving it (I'm out to sea) or just buy an 07 the dealership is trying to unload so they can make room for the 08's when I get back?

I'd pull the trigger, but then again, you know that many people don't really trust anyone who has an modified boxer engine.

But this guy knows what hes/shes doing. And the modifications are

But then again, I do love the new Legacy's. Love the new look

I don't like that he took the airbag out. I'd hope it could be put back.

$25,000 isn't a bad deal but I'd wish for a few less miles.

The front bumper isn't floating my boat, and I'd get rid of all the decals obviously, but otherwise

Guy seems to know what he was doing, I'd trust it.

Also love that photography.

at one point, i was convinced my next car would be a LGT.

I ended up w/ a xB (4 days ago) cause i needed something reliable w/ good gas milage, and as cheap as possible. But i saw another LGT on the street today, and I still got that feeling that I bought the wrong car

me too. i was searching and looking at them like crazy months ago. the potential power and the look and a sleeper of a car. i knew what i wanted to do to it.

but after some time i looked at the IS250 awd, i sacrificed power for a lexus. toyota reliability, very nice cabin and well it's alot more classy and elegant then a subaru. i didn't want the boy racer look everyday. i would not hesitate to buy one as a fun side car though.

the one above doens't really have to man yengine modds on it at all. seems like the stock turbo and only a downpipe, ad a cobb accessport which would be stage one plus exhaust. now drop a uppipe into that, headers, a 20G turbo, front mount intercooler and a custum tune now your looking at an awd beast. both in power and torque and it would not cost to much. the suspension is definitely top quality.
i'm now drooling over the potential once again if you want more then i would go with a Green turbo.

i say go for it, the suspension is all done, the engine hasn't really been played with at all and it already has an aggressive look. little more invested into it and it's a beast.

I just saw that dude's article in Modified Magazine's September Issue. I'd buy it
Pick the issue up and read up on it.

Here's the kicker - if you are married then there is one other person who might think you don't need to look like a racer anymore either. This one is gonna need a delicate touch when bringing it up to wifey =) At the end of the day though, the worst I will end up with is an 07/08 right??? heh heh heh
