no RSX type R

it looks like they dont plan on bringing the type R here to the us . the interesting thing is that Road and track writes " Honda claims it is the fastest front wheel drive car in the world. " . It has a 220 hp version of the RSX type S engine. Damn wonder what kinda times it does.

That sucks! I'd like to find the guy who decided that the US shouldn't get the RSX Type R and punch him in the face! What is Honda's problem?

type R gets a 220 hp engine ( 200 for the type S ) bigger wheels , ground effect , spoiler, a 6 speed manual ( I think they both have that though ) .
shame it is not coming here, with the huge honda enthusiasts in the US I cant explain it .

Are you positive about that. I just got one of the July 2001 car rags, and they said they would introduce the "Type R", later...

(No confirmation)
