Nissan/Infiniti Gt-R

I have a year and a half left on my leased 2004 6Mt TL, i have started some research on the upcoming cars in 2007-2008 and I came across the above. Any opinions on this? Twin turbo on an FM platform, Sounds pretty nice. Wonder what the sticker will be on this.

I wonder how it will look like here in the States. It's going to get played out soon though.

Is the G35 going to be redesigned too... Basically a detuned GT-R ??

That might fit the bill...

I think $70K is too much for the GT-R. Hopefully it'll be priced several thousand under the next gen M3, that would make it really competitive price wise.

You have to remember that the next gen M3 will get a V8 and bmw wanted to make another car in between the 330 and the M3. This would make the M3 price jump up quite a bit.

I really hope (for Nissan's sake) that the GT-R is priced in the area of the C6 ($45-$55k). If it's priced in the $70k range, I'd have to go with the Z06.

If that car has the performance we anticipate for < $50k, they will be sold out EVERYWHERE!

70 grand?
For 10 Grand more, you can have an R-34 shipped over and converted for you. Then let the modding begin.

Motorex is done from what I've heard.

Motorex is bankrupt ... no more R34 conversions. DOT won't plate them here so whoever's got 'em ... they're probably worth more due to supply/demand.

I have to wait until 2016 to plate a 2001 R34 in Canada. Stupid rules.
