Nice! I've always loved the red crinkle finish of Ferrari valve covers.

Here's a couple more. I love the mechanical look of American V8's of the sixties. Here are a couple pics I took while at Barrett-Jackson this January. Two Ford 427's in two very different configurations:

Jack Roush built 427 in a Superformance GT40. 560 horsepower

Engine bay of Carroll Shelby's personal Cobra. CSX3015. One of two built. 427 side oiler, twin paxton, 800 horsepower.

Of course I'm biased, but I immediately thought of Ken Henderson's "famous" 1100rwhp+ Supra:

This '57 Chevy with 8 turbos always struck me as a plumber's nightmare and something Salvadore Dali would do, but IMO it does have a unique beauty to it:

55,
Ken's twin setup is two HKS 3240's ...his motor is fully built with a 3.4 liter HKS stroker kit.

Tony's lists his single as a "GTR70" but when I just looked for trim info, all I could find is him saying it's an old school T88H ...so I'm not sure if that's up to date. If I find out otherwise I'll let you know. His car is absolutely pristine and he's managed to push it to a 1/4et of 10.05 @ 140+.

I had a '67 XKE Roadster a while back and always loved it ...and thought the engine was a work of art, especially considering the engine was first made in 1948. I wish I could find this one gorgeous photo of the engine, but this is what I found for now:
