The rims look like the ones from the SEMA CLS. It looks decent, but just something about it is not sitting right with me. I guess it will grow on me.

I do like that it sits lower, and thus no more 4X4 look. Lip spoiler is also cool in addition to the body kit. Seems like some people at Acura were listening to this board. About time.

the TL with the 18's looks great. The other wheels are too plain.

Definitely like it. Just wish the power was a little more but (except for the Maxima) it is class leading. Well done Acura

We'll see....hopefully acura underated the engine. I'm sure the power output is close to 280-290hp.

Not impressed at all. Acura needs to get their act together and produce some more top quality cars that compete with the bigger names because this doesn't do anything for me and i'm sure there are others that agree with me.

Yea it's an alright looking car, but the 02' - 03' model looks so much hotter. I wish the 02' - 03' had the guage cluster and the 6 Spd., but other than that, doesn't do me any justice at all. I mean they aren't even going to make Type S models anymore, how GHAY is that? Plus the FWD is nice, the RWD is also nice, but AWD would be the bomb.

If you all want to start flaming on me, go ahead cause i'm not going to waste my time trying to argue back, have better things to do. I'm allowd to have my opinions and I respect all of your opinions so please don't start with me.

?????? Wha? TypeS might be gone but there will be performance variant. Cripes, don't get your panties in a bunch. Interior, fit-finish etc., electronics etc., are MUCH MUCH better than previous gen. Sure the exterior looks different but change is good.

Don't want to get into a coversation then don't post.......

First all I don't wear panties thank you very much, that may be your style, but not mine.

I'll get into a convo if I damn well please, but I don't need people giving me shit just cause I give an opinion. Plus if you can read correctly, I stated:

I'm allowd to have my opinions and I respect all of your opinions

I mean damn, give me some kinda credit here. I could have been a real fucking asshole and said a whole bunch more, I was at least being nice about it.

Yeah the Type S might be gone, but as far as how I feel about the design and everything, I stated what I wished were on the 02' -03' from the New TL but with the 02' - 03' Model, I would rather Supercharge the Type S, do the 3.5L Conversion and then Tranny Upgrade with maybe a couple of other things.

I thought the new tl looked like a beemer bc of its trunk and rims. But how much does it go for anyone know? Also the back doors look retarted, it looks like they really tried making a 2 door into a 4 door. But thats what I think, not a big fan of the 3rd gen.

No one said a damn thing to me? Umm yeah I believe so, it was you. What was the point of editing your post? Why didn't you just add on to it and leave what you had there in the first place. Yes there is a TL board and I go there as well, but the people here are more friendly, (most of them). I thought we are all an Acura family and if I want to be an asshole about something I didn't like, I have that right to.

You don't know what i'm going through right now.

So now i'm bothering the CL board?? Why does it have to be me being a bother? How about you just let me have my opinions and respect them and you have your opinions and i'll respect them without you saying messed up comments and i'll do the same just for your satisfaction.

Now if you don't mind, let's forget about all of this and just be civil, agreed??? At least i'm trying on my part.

The Max has 265, so the TL beats that too.

i too think that this acura is modest and bland. im sure its a great car with lots of nice options, but nothing exciting. not a chick magnet car i guess. the new acura tl reminds me of a dodge or a chrysler lhs.

my ride

I still don't like the c-pillar or the rear end. The front looks better than the current TL however. 270hp standard and the 6 speed are very nice additions, and from what I've seen of the interior shots it looks very good quality inside. However, I hope they don't price it too much over $30k, because I would still take a G35 or 330i over the new TL if it was only a grand or two more, much less the same price.

i wouldnt compare my car to the tl. my car is in another class. i was comparing the new tl to the current generation tl. the new tl looks like an american design, like the new accord, which looks boring.

Yep, I agree, it's alright, but I wouldn't buy it. It doesn't do anything for me either.

The interior is hot, I'll say that, but w/ the rumored increase in price and the TSX big brother looks, I'm not rushing to the dealership anytime soon (even if they come out w/ a type s and AWD).

If I needed a 4door sedan, I'd probably look elsewhere (G35, 330, etc).

Now, your talking. I they come out w/ a coupe, I'd like to see what they do w/ the C pillars. It might look better in coupe form.

I don't know if I'm crazy about that groove running down the side added with the side moldings....too many horizantal lines to look at.

I say one or the other.........other than that, I like it.
