new tail light overlays for the G

Here are my new tail light overlays. I had a graphics shop make them up for me. The colors are a pretty close match and it looks really good IMO. I got the idea for them from NFS2 Underground So, what do you guys think?

I'm kinda feeling the same way. I'm not too sure how I feel about these But yes, at night, they probably do look pretty tight.

maybe its the color of the car that makes it look weird to me.

not to hijack the thread, but can someone photochop those onto a black car or something different.

thx for all your opinions. i was trying to do something different. it kind of looks a little ricey for my tastes but in person it does look pretty hot. plus it was only a $100. so, if i start to hate it i can just peel it off. as for now i'm liking the look and being different i'll get a night pic for you guys later on.

Lights cover

I Like the taillight covers, it sorta sets you apart from other G's. Not a bad idea at all and for 100 beans not to risky in either direction, no doubt you will see others with that on thuur now, and then you ill wanna take dem off so flossy mae it while is hot.

I like it, unfortunately, I already saw it on a G in Santa Monica. Did the exact same thing you did. He had full body kit and SKYLINE badges however. :P

on the G pages no one has done it that i have seen. those guys are a bit strange about cars, though. a lot of older guys that don't like anything but the stock look. that's why i spend the majority of the time over here

after seeing the light through the vinyl and seeing how the positioning of the holes are off center making it sort of cock eyed, I would say a light black tint over the whole tail light would be a better investment. but good effort

Whoa that totally changes the look of the rear during the day IMO. Maybe it takes some getting used to. However that night shot looks much better as the rear lights get all the attention and it really sets it off nice.

Not bad.

Looks good.

Wonder if you just did it over the reverse light section & squared it off with the brake light area...hmmmm
