Open Road Honda (Edison, NJ) has one secured in their showroom. When I referenced the lofty MSRP to one of the salesmen, he mentioned that at that pricepoint the new 08 AV6 EX-L 6MT w/Navi is a MUCH more favorable option....to which I agreed.Nice car but not worth the extra $7k over an Si w/Navi (a feature not avail in the Mugen).
Back on topic, I am certain the stealership is insured for this.

Looks like they made off with the front lip as well.
But I will say it is nice looking, our dealer when we got our new Civics, they had one on the showroom.
Obviously there will be a fake one showing up soon, so it will be pretty obvious it is him that stole them once he starts driving around with these parts on it.

they got one in at Honda of Marysville the last time i went to get my oil changed. I sat in it. Is it cool? yes. is it worth 30 grand? depends on who you ask.
in my honest opinion i wouldn't give 30 grand for it.
plus i was talking with the dealer a little about it. i wasn't interested in just killing time. he said this is a "no haggle car" meaning this is the price either pay it or hit the road. plus the Blue Mugen Civic Si they got is the only one they'll get for 08 Model year.
If i was to drop that kind of cash i'd get a V-6 Accord 6 speed. yes i know it doesn't have all the Mugen crap on it but damn 30 grand for a Civic

When the 99 Si came out they were being hit just like that at dealers and peoples driveways. Mine was jacked up and the wheels and stuff inside were taken. Our dealer after 3 of them had the wheels stolen parked them inside at night. And those really werent special
