The first F1 is about as perfect of an automobile as could ever be built. Not doubting their ability to make one better but they have to realize that following perfection isn't easy.

I'm sure they can add a smoother slush box, s more ecomical/higher output engine, maybe even a couple of electronical components to aid in performance. I wouldnt know, but well see.

Thanks. I guess McLaren are not standing by while seeing their title of worlds greatest/fastest car title slip away to Ferrari/Porsche/etc.

The car's been out for over 10 years and its just this year that its top speed record has been broken by the Koenisseg (sp?). Just imagine what McLaren could produce now with their current technology.

Is it the most perfect car ever made because it had the highest top speed? If that is your definition of "perfection", you and I have very different opinions.

I have never driven one (as I am sure most people havent) but as far as handling and performance reviews, I would rate it the best due to cars that are 10 years newer being put up against it and still not beating it.

There are numerous reviews out there from people who own them and they rate them higher than all their other vehicles (Leno and Ralph lauren for example).
